Volunteer in Thailand with Friends for Asia

Friends for Asia – Volunteer Thailand Back Online

Over the past week we’ve experienced some technical problems with our website and e-mail accounts. Please accept my apologies to anyone who has tried to contact us or access our website and experienced problems in doing so. Thankfully, things are all back online now, so please be sure to contact us again here at Friends for Asia if you did experience any problems in doing so over the past week.

Volunteering in Thailand 2010

As we near the end of 2010, we have on last orientation group of 7 volunteers. These volunteers are arriving on Friday, and one on Saturday. I will be posting a summary of our year here within the next couple of weeks. A second posting will cover what our goals and objectives for 2011 are. More about all of this will be coming soon.

Our Condolences to Nirandr, our Volunteer Coordinator

Nirandr is our Safety and Security coordinator. His mother-in law passed away on Sunday, at the age of 81. Funeral services are planned for tomorrow. We thank Nirandr for his poise during this time of difficulty. Thank you Khun Nirandr for all you do for Friends for Asia and we are all very sorry for your loss.
