Our Condolences on the Passing of HRM King Bhumibol
We at Friends for Asia are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of His Royal Majesty King Bhumibol Adjulyadej. On behalf of our staff and those volunteering at our projects in Thailand, we would like to extend our sincerest condolences to Queen Sirikit, the Royal Family and the people of Thailand.
His Majesty was an extraordinary example of what a selfless commitment to the wellbeing of others can accomplish. Throughout his reign, he devoted himself to improving the health, livelihood and prosperity of those under his care. He was, without question, the ultimate volunteer in Thailand – giving tirelessly of his energy and resources to help others.
His Majesty’s life and legacy are an inspiration to us all. We are deeply humbled to have had the opportunity to live and operate under his reign.
